Dolná Strehová ((ハンガリー語:Alsósztregova)) is a village and municipality in the Veľký Krtíš District of the Banská Bystrica Region of southern Slovakia. ==History== In historical records, the village was first mentioned in 1251 (1251 ''Strigoa'', 1381 ''Strogea, Stergow, Stergo'', 1349 ''Stregoua'', 1487 ''Ztrehowa'', 1493 A''lsozthergowa''). It belonged to many feudatory families. In 1534 it passed to Levice town. In the 18th century it belonged to the Esterházy family. From 1939 to 1944 it belonged to Hungary.
